Furio
Suggi Liverani, born in Trieste in 1957, is illycaffè's Chief
Technology Officer with responsability on research, innovation,
quality; head of Coffee University and member of illycaffè
strategic board.

He pioneered the use of Internet and multimedia in business. He founded, on behalf of illycaffè, AromaLab, a laboratory focused to the study of coffee chemistry, located in the Area Science Park of Trieste.
Author of more than 40 articles regarding coffee technology, computer science.
He is the co-inventor of more than 10 industrial patents.
